Bucks House has a Victorian brick exterior, concealing a timber framed lathe and plaster house, built in 1510.
It has a wealth of character, beams and inglenooks. We are one hours drive from London, 20 minutes from London (Stansted) airport, and 35 minutes from Cambridge. We are also very conveniently placed for Towerlands Equestrian Centre and the popular wedding venues of Leez Priory, The Orangery at Great Saling and The High Barn in Great Bardfield. The Freeport Designer Shopping Village is only ten minutes drive. Finchingfield, one of the most photographed villages in England, with its beautiful setting around the village pond is two miles away. |

many beautiful East Anglian villages and tourist attractions close by. There are many good restaurants and pubs locally and we are happy to make recommendations and reservations. We can also book local taxis.
