Morannedd is a Victorian family house built around 1886 overlooking the beautiful Vale of Ffestiniog. The name means "Rest house by the sea" However, though not too far off, sight of the sea is non-existent!
Most of the bedrooms are en-suite. The delightful Victorian sitting-room, overlooking the mountains, is a pleasure to relax in. Our excellent breakfasts are available in the dining room. If you want a meal in the evening, there are a number of commendable eating places nearby.
Packed lunches are available, including filled flasks, at £4 per person.
Dogs are welcome.
There are miles of paths for gentle rambles to spectacular waterfalls, woodlands and lakes, or, for the more energetic, the mountains provide a greater challenge. There is a riding school in Maentwrog, a short distance away, for those who prefer to view the hills from horseback. |
